Golden Tangram is based on the ancient and traditional puzzle named Tangram.

A square is cut into seven different pieces and from these pieces, various patterns are assembled. Geometric patterns, fantasy patterns, or patterns resembling real life objects.

It is your task to recreate each pattern using all seven pieces, without overlapping pieces. When all seven pieces are in their correct position and the pattern is recreated, the pieces are converted into pure gold and you win the game. Sounds easy? Since you can only see the outline of each pattern, but not how the pieces are put together, this is often much harder than one might think.

Golden Tangram contains three similar puzzles: Tangram, Pythagoras and Crossbreaker. Each of these puzzles has a set of seven pieces, but the pieces have different shapes for each. Especially the asymmetric pieces of the crossbreaker puzzle make some of the patterns a real challenge to solve.

In total, there are 250 patterns to solve, and if this not enough, you can try to create some patterns of your own in freestyle mode. Creating and finding a really good new pattern is often more difficult than recreating an existing one. Self made patterns can of course be saved, so you can later challenge your friends and family members to solve them.
